Rolleflex 6008 - Used Hy6?

Hi,

how come there is no place where I can buy a used Hy6? Did they only make like 3 of them?

Thanks Pieter, Eric is a wonderful person, I've spoken to him, he's a super guy, Problem is, I am in Europe, so whatever price the camera is, I have a 20% tax on it - at 8k$, it's 1.6k$. I understand the hy6 is not a nikon f80 but still, 1.6k$ is the price of a lens...

Also - do Leaf cameras exist that take Bayonet VI lenses?

Well I would try the factory or Leica Store Lisse then. And although Leaf AFi cameras do exist (as well as Sinars) they would be the first generation and could be hard y to o find. I have seen some bodies without backs on eBay and there was a fellow here in Detroit who had a full digital kit for sale on Share Grid for a while.

Another reason you're not seeing many for sale is those who have them in good working order are keeping them. And there is a dire lack of trained technicians, service and parts for the ones that need repair.
