Don't feed the creature living under the bridge.
Proverbs 18:2 ESV
A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion.
Proverbs 29:9 ESV
If a wise man has an argument with a fool, the fool only rages and laughs, and there is no quiet.
Spastic is a technical term. It can be used in a heartless and cruel way, but it is quite appropriately used by doctors and therapists to describe a particular type of condition and circumstances.""Spastic" is a thoughtless and derogatory label which irritates me greatly"
and would any sane decent person which some people as shown are not
Actually asperger syndrome covers a wide spectrum and effects people differently. Its only the last 20 years that its become better understood. Often people with this have physiological problems caused by people with indifference to it. My grade 7 teacher use to make the kids who had learning difficulties (probably aspergers) have there desks at the back of the class room, facing the back wall so she would not have to engage with them. Even recently there has been cases of kids getting locked in store rooms or other means of exclusion. My step son has Asperges and he had a torrid time during school, first miss diagnosis and drugs that were ineffective Lucky he was diagnosed correctly just before high school and was supervised by the special education unit, who had at least one person who fully understood what Asperges is. If not for her he would not of made it through school. Still use to dread the phone calls from the school of what he had done wrong AGAIN, was often yelled and abused by frustrated teachers and spent a few times on suspension. Cant blame them too much as I am guilty of the same. Asperges people can be hard work, yelling and chastising is as effective as doing it to the wall. Anyway Jeremy is smart enough to list his conditions, shows every bit of the signs for these condition, so at least has an excuse. Please Mr Jeremy Rundle no more of your ranting and raving, My wife, a nurse who worked with Autitsic people, both young and old, and myself, now retired, we still work with autism, we have several friends who are autistic, we are befrienders, and it takes time and patience, both of which we have in spades, and never ever have we come across someone like you appear to be, insulting,to pretty much anyone you take a dislike to, and you did not leave another forum, you were kicked off of it for a insults to several members who tried to help you, all over this film agiitar and mostly because you were asked a simple question, back your claims of this ''invention'' of you and your sons, which you have completely failed to do. so don't call Ian and others liars when you blatantly tell lies your self, I have , like Terry, tried to stay out of this, but you have made my blood boil by giving autisum and Asbergers a bad name, never have I met, in nearly 70 years of life, anyone as plain nasty as you, rant over and I will now ignore you, which is better than you deserve
Richard
My wife and mysself know that Asbergers was a little understood problem by many people, it is a form of autism and has in recent years become a lot more understood, but it is something that does. as with any autism, keep sufferes apart from so called society, but thanks to some brave sufferes it has come more to the forefront and is know more understood, I di understand and my remarks were , but it is his attitude mot only here but on Fadu, from which he has been banned, that makes my Wife suspect that there is a lot more going on with him than simply autism/asbergers, she spent half of her working life working with them and has never come across anyone with his attitude to thins, if you could have read his last posts them you might have got a better idea, they were not just rude as you might expect from someone with asberger but not from autistic folk, but were completly insulting to everyone on the forum, not just Ian, difficult to expplain you would havs to have been there to understand, he insulted even members who had defended him, and that is why in the end the adnim was forced to ban him,Actually asperger syndrome covers a wide spectrum and effects people differently. I know nothing about Jeremy, but its obvious he has some issues, his signature line explains part of. I'm no expert on dealing with such people, but doubt chastising or arguing with him in public will be of any benefit. My wife and mysself know that Asbergers was a little understood problem by many people, it is a form of autism and has in recent years become a lot more understood, but it is something that does. as with any autism, keep sufferes apart from so called society, but thanks to some brave sufferes it has come more to the forefront and is know more understood, I di understand and my remarks were , but it is his attitude mot only here but on Fadu, from which he has been banned, that makes my Wife suspect that there is a lot more going on with him than simply autism/asbergers, she spent half of her working life working with them and has never come across anyone with his attitude to thins, if you could have read his last posts them you might have got a better idea, they were not just rude as you might expect from someone with asberger but not from autistic folk, but were completly insulting to everyone on the forum, not just Ian, difficult to expplain you would havs to have been there to understand, he insulted even members who had defended him, and that is why in the end the adnim was forced to ban him,
This thread is like a bad car accident. I just can't resist slowing down to look..
The way I see it, "Handicapped" is a state of mind. Physical and/or mental limitations and challenges can either be used as a reason to push harder to overcome, or as an excuse to be pitied, or used as a club to force your will on others, or to get your way, or make oneself important. Just an opinion.
Autistic, Aspergers and CoMorbid ADHD beat that
'beat that'. Seriously? There's a competition and the most messed up member wins?
Looking for victim status. Why else use both Autistic and Aspergers? The prefix CoMorbid is to add yet more victim points.
There is someone on this forum who can beat that and it is you Jeremy.
You forgot to add Narcissistic Personality Disorder to your tag line.
