Opening July-03-2025__duration till July-24-2025

I am taking part in the group exhibition with two photographs named

ROGUE_ROUGA_RUE-ATHINAS

This work was inspired from "photographing chaos" thread.
A few words for the title ROGUE_ROUGA_RUE-ATHINAS most people when in transit [traveling] are a bit ROGUE,-- ROUGA is a word for a neighborhood [Greek 1300 ad.] still in use southern Peloponnese -southern Italy. and RUE [street] French.
This corner is what was the entrance to the ancient Agora of Athens which happens to be under tons of cement and asphalt.

This is the link you apparently tried to share: artviews.gr/rogue-free-kalokairini-omadiki-ekthesi-stin-artzone-42-gallery

Congrats on the participation/exhibition.

and RUE [street] French.
That seems to derive from the Latin 'ruga', meaning something like 'wrinkle' or 'crease'. I find the association between 'road' and 'rogue' rather far-fetched if I'm honest.

thank you!

It is a play, on the words ROGUE / ROUGA / RUE
and there is the word DOO'GROU = [straight on the road] --oriental Greek.
