Rodinal & TMAX 400

My "first" bottle of Rodinal arrived today.

I have some TMAX 400 that needs developed.

Is this a good combination? Or should I stick to my XTOL 1:1 and save the Rodinal for slower speed film?

Why not just shoot a test roll and develop it in Rodinal first? That way you won't take a chance on something important.
