This is regarding Rollei ATP in Rodinal. The massive developing chart says 12 min at 20 deg C and ISO 25 at 1:300. Is this accurate? What I need are particulars. Agitation? I have seen posts where one person did it at 1:300 but contrast was still high and one other that did it at 1:150 but nobody says about agitation. Would it help to try and do a semi-stand development or would that just complicate things?

I will do tests when it arrives, the Rodinal is already here. From what I have read of Rodinal, I should probably give more exposure like around iso 12 or 16. Is this accurate? If I do that I'll reduce the developement. Just wanted to get the ear of the Rodinal masters and try to ready when it arrives.

Thanks in advance!
Phillip

ATP1.1 in Rodinal 1+150 for 6:30 minutes will do the job. However the iso rate is 12-15 only.

There for more practical reasons you can use the Rollei Low Contrast (RLC) document developer for an iso rate of 20-25.

With the special made ATP-DC developer you will get full iso 32-40 rate.

Here an example in Rodinal 1+150. Keep in mind that your real minimum of concentrate must be around 5ml for each 135-36 or 120 roll film.

Here the same type of scene in Efke 25 and a Beutler developer 1+1+10 7:00 minutes.

Thank you Robert, I have read all the info on 1:150 and as far as the other developers I have no access in Taiwan. I will just test at 300

I can believe no one out there can help with agitation or if a semi-stand would help tame the contrast of this film. Maybe I just ask the wrong questions, that's probably it.

It's a specific film question with an unusual developer combination.
My agitation: First 30 S continuous then every 30 S 1x slowly.

The result you can see above. Even with 1+150 Rodinal, ATP1.1 tends to a steep developing curve with this developer.
Further the iso rate is low.

If you have problems in getting the RLC or ATP-DC maybe a POTA DIY developer is a possibility for you.
