Can someone give an accurate estimation of the number of square inches of film that a milliliter of Rodinal can develop? I assume the amount per ml of developer holds true regardless of the dilution.

Thanks.

I always dilute it about 1:50, but others go 1:100. At ANY dilution, though, I would toss it after one use. I don't think it is meant to be reused, FWIW.

I thought it was something like 5ml to 80 in^2. Somewhere on the bottle label or in the instructions should be a table of dilutions. I remember there being a footnote that says to not use less than X ml (oz) per roll/sheet

I usually use it twice for 120 films. If i'm using 500mm with a 1:25 or 1:50 dilution, i've noticed no difference doing two or three rolls back to back. With 4x5 and 8x10 i'll use that developer most of the day, doing up to 5 sheets at a time for a total of maybe 16 sheets in 64 oz of developer.

I use mostly 1:100 (500ml) for two rolls of film (35mm or 120). That makes 2.5ml/roll. I find it very slightly compensating but that is probably because of the low agitation I use.
