That's a little higher than my temps, which run ~74F - ~80F (~23C - ~27C). I don't see much difference in the range that I use with FP4+ and HP5+ (roll and sheet) but that is not to say that there is no difference, just that *I* don't see it.
As to minimal agitation, I've only used Rodinal 1:200 with stand development. There are visible differences between what I get with 1:50 and 1:100 using 'regular' agitation v.s. the 1:200 stand, but I'm not good enough with the terminology to describe them very well. I would expose the same shot multiple times and develop using the different methods so that you can visibly see the difference yourself. If you are using roll film, just expose the entire roll and then develop parts of the roll using different methods/dilutions (don't worry about cutting through one shot since the entire roll is the same).
