Picked up a Linhof Super Technika iii 6x9 with a Linhof Rodenstock-Heligon f:2,8 90mm lens. Tryng to find some information on the lens. I have run across limited info on a Rodenstock-Heligon 95mm 2.8 and a 100mm 2.8 but not much on the 90mm. I would be interested in information or any personal experiences with the lens.
thanks
John
Sorry, I have no personal experience with the lens; the Heligon should be the Rodenstock equivalent to the Zeiss Planar and the Schneider Xenotar that were also available for the Linhof Technika 6x9. They are all fast normal lenses with a double gauss design optimized for speed rather than coverage, to enable the use of the Technika in press camera style.
