After a few years shooting with medium format (6x6 Rollei), I finally decided to jump into 4x5..

First part I got is the lens: a 210 f/6.8 Rodenstock Geronar. Don't have any 4x5 body yet.
It comes with this Omega View lens board. Seems like it's for the Omega View 45D system.

Of course for portability reason, I prefer field over monorail camera, like a Horseman or Wista.
I wonder if this lens board is compatible with those cameras?

No, but you can buy the proper board and easily mount the lens to it.

You can easily sell lens boards :D

The Geronar was a Budget lens based on the Cooke Triplet design, good for portraits at wider apertures but as sharp as Plasmats like Sironar N or Symmar S lenses at f22. I have a 210mm and a 150mm.

I used to own one of those. Well, the Caltar version but it's the same lens. Nice little lens. It's so small that I could fold it up into my Crown Graphic. It would be great for hiking.

As pointed out above, this is the same as the Toyo View boards. They're not compatible with any other camera. But Technika, Toyo Field, Speed Graphic, Sinar and Horseman (including 80mm) boards can be used with Toyo cameras with adapters.
