I just won a Rodenstock 80/4 APO enlarging lens off ebay and realized it is not the N version. Stupid me. I paid $200, but can return it if I wish. Are there major differences between the N and non N versions of this lens? I believe N means its multi-coated? I currently have a Schneider Componon-S 80/4 and wanted to compare to the Rodenstock 80/4 APO N.
There it was a thread about this before. You will hardly see any difference between N or not if you're not doing color big enlargements. At least I can't with mines and I'm an unbearable nitpicker.
