I have a nice rodenstock 50mm enlarger lens but no cap. Does anyone have an extra?

Don't have a 50mm Rodenstock, however if you know what size it takes, you should be able to get something that works from B&H. I know the cap for my 150mm APO Rodenstock has the little spring loaded ears, however a slip on of the right size should work. Bill Barber

Which Rodenstock 50mm lens?
There have been quite a few of them over the years.

One way is to use snap-on filter-ring caps. With the spread of small digital cameras they are now available in smaller sizes too.
Another is the use of push-on caps. They still are available new (from Heliopan in a great variety of diameters).

Hey thanks for the replies. I just kind of assumed it would be a common size for the model. I'll look for a super cheap 40.5 snap on from fleabay.

You might look at filterfind.net. Tim Rice has an amazing assortment of filters and lens caps and.....

My Rodenstock Rodagon 50/2.8 cap says 49.5 on the inside.

I have a couple of Rodenstock 49.5mm caps. They're both used but in good shape. How does ($25 for one) or ($45 for two) shipped CONUS/lower48 sound?

Okay, I understand... but that's less than recent eBay prices.

^^^ That's a great place but those aren't genuine Rodenstock caps. I personally don't care but many people do.

A quick check on ebay doesn't support your argument & I really wouldn't place a plastic cap at that kind of value. But I admire your entrepreneurship.

^^^ Nice find!! I'd jump on those if I needed them.

I searched again and indeed my price is too high.
