I'm interested in trying the Rockland Tintype 4X5 kit for use in various pinhole cameras. Has anyone here done any of this, and if so, how well did it work? Tips and suggestions for technique would be appreciated. Example images if you can show them would be great too, thanks.

I know nothing at all about tintypes, not sure if they might dry out if the exposure takes too long. But I think iso 1 is doable... a bit more than 3 stops slower than my paper negs, and I make plenty of pictures in less than 5 minutes. That would still be less than an hour. Might be a problem in a deep dark forest though.... could take more daylight than there is in a day! Neat idea.

Thank you both. I assumed the tintype kit was more like 3ASA, but if its more like 1ASA, that starts to make the idea a lot more limiting. I'll do some more research. Thanks.
