I just learned that the late Carmel poet Robinson Jeffers was a photographer when I came across the "call for papers" from CSU Long Beach. Jeffers, along with Walter De La Mar are among my favorite poets, so I was ondering is there is an on-line gallery of his images---is there? Jeffers wrote the beautiful "Mal Paso Creek" so if his landscapes are anything like his poetry----wow!

It's probably worth mentioning that no less a photographer than E.Weston did a powerful portrait of Jeffers. He was certainly among the luminaries of the Carmel/Big Sur coast in the 20s and 30s. I wouldn't be surprised if Jeffers learned a bit about photography from either Weston or Adams, as he knew them both. Have never seen any of his work, but would love to, if you can find it.
One other aside, one of my favorite poems is "The Poet Is Dead" by William Everson, a tribute to Jeffers. All these guys were creative giants.

A copy of that "powerful portrait" (printed by Brett) is currently on eBay for $1800, should anyone want to see it. Search for item #150143927573...
