RIP: Rondal Partridge

I just bought his book "A Quizzical Eye" a couple of months ago, and have been enjoying it. He did interesing and varied work.

I see his son-in-law almost every day, who lives in the same house, so have had periodic updates. It's remarkable how long he kept printing,
until maybe 95.

Just got the details. He was alert and upbeat right to the very end, and died with family at his bedside. 98. Will ask about the collection later,
when it's appropriate. But local museum capacity is probably maxed out, even for someone of that generation.

Were you the one who put him up to tying Ansel Adams' shoelaces together?

Oh my. I'll have to ask about that one. He had a reputation, indeed. Even his pictures are whimsical. Let's just say Ansel was a "businessman"
and paid him next to nothing as his assistant, and that probably factored into practical joke style revenge from time to time.
