I have a camera with the similar problem as this user on reddit.
Here's a video of the camera and the insides of the camera as one advances the lever.

There isn't any gunk inside.
The camera is in perfect cosmetic condition.
I tried with and without batteries.
I cannot see any damage or missing / misplaced parts inside the body.
I would love to be able to fix it so I can use it! If anyone can tell me if it's a possible fix or if it's not repairable I would really appreciate.
