I have two Ricoh GR1's. The 's' and the 'v'. One bought new at the time it came out and one bought more recently. Both have simultaneously developed sticky rubber on the hard rubber facia area around the viewfinder at the back. This and the red on-off button. Any cures, if you forgive the pun, please?

You can see the area on this shot I borrowed from flicker

It happened at the same time as the foam rubber film canister padding went.

There was a thread on RFF about sticky rubber syndrome, Hunter's Rubber Buffer has been recommended as a very good fix. I've got some on order but have not tried it yet.
