Ricoh FF-3 vs FF-3D

Hi All—
Can anyone help me understand the differences between the Ricoh FF-3 AF and the Ricoh FF-3D AF? I can't find any documentation on the latter.

The "D" has a date back, which makes it 5 mm thicker and 25 g heavier.
