Ricoh 500 RF rangefinder problems

I just bought a Ricoh 500 RF in reasonable condition but light seals had
gone so I replaced them. light meter works ok and shuter works ok.
however the rangefinder doesn't work, the two images don't line up
Has anyone got any suggestion how to repair this.

Ricoh 500 was used for a number of differnt models over the years, when was your made, was it a 500 G from the 70s or later version?
