RHdesigns : difference between ANALYSER PRO, RH DESIGNS STOPCLOCK AND THE ZONEMASTER IIm

Hi ,

I am really struggling with the basic differences of RHDesign's devices.

Could someone explain me the basic differences and advantages of each of the 3 devices in easy to understand language.

ANALYSER PRO,
RH DESIGNS STOPCLOCK
AND THE ZONEMASTER IIm

Also is it compatible with a Durst M605 enlarger?

Could you tell what you like about the stopclock? And what about using 2 channels?

In short, the Analyzer Pro is essentially a reduced-function Stop Clock and a Zonemaster in one box.

I have an AP and think it is a great piece of gear that saves me a lot of time and materials when printing in the darkroom.

Do you mean then that the Stopclock is more advanced with more capabilities? Because of the price. A StopClock is more cheaper than the AP.

Yes, the Stopclock has more capabilities than the timer built into the AP eg. 1/24 stop rather than 1/12 stop resolution. But it is just a (sophisticated) timer not an analyzer, while the AP is both.

I went through the same exercise and ended up with the stopclock and zonemaster combo. The reason I did that is it makes split grade printing slightly easier than than the AP because of the 2 channels. I have been very happy with the combo. I also liked the idea of the separate zonemaster for use on my enlargers that have their own timer.

I'm not using the 2 channels option.
