I use a small amount of Rexton Hyper-wet as a final short soak for my negatives to aid in them drying clean. Today it left a wonderful collection of chunky granules all over my negatives, requiring much washing and leaving to dry without any rinse aid.

The solution itself looks okay, it doesn't appear to be filled with anything foreign, and it doesn't appear to be going through some sort of change. Any ideas why this might be happening and what I can do to prevent it? I don't shoot that much film and even the smallest bottles last forever so it would be nice to not have to throw it out after using 5% of the bottle.
