Isn't it so true it hurts! The main source of my frustration and depression with what for me is a hobby is exactly that i have to make a stinking living first, then play later!
The corollary is that the conditions are never so perfect as when it is not possible to get away to take advantage.
Still, I am looking forward to getting away to the White Mountains in late June. No toy camera this trip, i am taking the 8x10... hunting down a couple more waterfalls in between hiking my last three of the 48 over 4000 footers.

I couldn't agree more. I was recently gifted some SFX and IR film from a very kind member here and the weather has been perfect to use it when I'm stuck at my desk. As soon as I get out of work it's been either grey skies or pure blue. But those clouds from 8am to 5pm are always so damn perfect.
Enjoy your White Mountain trip. It sounds like it will be a very enjoyable adventure. As for me I'm headed to Bar Harbor in July and looking forward to taking my Holga with me (along with several other cameras).
Here's an idea - since none of us have received the addresses yet, why can't we re-form the groups to be 5 each, instead of 6? Having an open call instead of a set deadline may mean that people will be waiting for months, if at all, to start their exchange. It's already been over a month since people expressed interest, so perhaps this is a better way to get everyone involved at the same time.
I didn't get a reply of all persons who signed up. So I'll go with Rachelle's idea and reform the group. I'll get back to you tonight about this. (last change to reply to my PM for who hasn't yet)
