I've been using Op/Tech camera straps for years. They're modular, easy to adjust and stay put on my shoulder. But I noticed the non-skid rubberized surface has started to wear off on my most frequently used strap.. I'm wondering if anyone has come up with a means or a substance to replace the original 'rubber' so the life of a much-loved strap can be extended.

They're not very expensive, I would replace the whole thing. But if you insist, you might try contacting the company to see if they sell just the rubber "neotech" part on its own.

I'd also replace the whole thing. If the rubberized surface is worn, other parts may be deteriorating.

As they are modular, you may be able to replace the worn part without giving up on the rest.

Call Op/Tech and ask them. I’ve called them before and they are friendly and helpful.
