The Spot Meter MK2 is now available. The updated version now operates with two AAA batteries and does away with the LR44's. The battery compartment now holds the AAA batteries directly instead of using the add on battery pack.

Yup. It's been too mild down here for hard frosting.

Thanks for the video , Andy. Well I certainly learned something that I was unaware of before, namely that the Reveni is only a 5 degree spot. Through either not paying enough attention when I saw videos( not yours) of it when it first came out or it not being made clear in those videos, I had always thought it was a direct rival to the one degree spot meters in the size of the spot

Based on your negatives it clearly suffered in terms of its accuracy of exposure in comparison

They are claiming that it is a 1.5 degree spot. I really find that hard to believe. My Minolta IV, with 5 degree spot attachment, is way more accurate... and easier to use!

Does the real question then become is it a worthy option for those looking to shed the most overall kit weight? Or perhaps worthy in a price comparison. I feel like all of the usual suspects in spot meters are $200 and up used. It looks like the Reveni mk2 is $245.

It's a bit pricey for me.
