Reusing E6 with catlab CL81 reel

Hello,
I started to use Jobo multitank 5 with Catlabs CL81 reel. My intention is develop also 8x10 slides. Since volumes recommended on Multitank 5 doesn't apply (it is not original JOBO reel) I contacted manufacturer and recommended volume is around 400 ml. I'm using E6 kit, which has capacity 1 Quart (942 ml). As per instructions this can be use for 8 sheets 8x10. I will use 1/2 Quart (cca. 470 ml) to develop 2 sheets on most outters tracks.Question is, if I will reuse this chemistry to develope another 2 sheets do I need to adjust time? To me looks like I still have enough capacity to not justify extension of developing time. Since it is slide, possibility of color shift not really working for me... Thx

Forgot mention, that I'm using Jobo processor..

I don't think you will have any problems. If you are running 3 batches (total of 8 sheets) and you are concerned, start with 400mL. Next batch use 300 mL of the unused portion and 100 mL of the used. Repeat for the last batch. If you are going to be shooting fresh Fujichrome 8x10 buy a 5L kit of the 6X Fuji/Hunt chemistry from Freestyle.

The usage of chemicals is based on the area of film being developed. A roll of 120 has about the same area as an 8×10 sheet. So base your usage on the recommendations for a roll 120.

If you want to use the same time for all 3 batches

I would do as I say above. Make 1 liter of each solution. Use 400 of the fresh, then take the left over fresh 600 ml divide into two 300mm batches then add 100 ml of the once used solution to make 400 ml. It will be as consistent as you will get with the small kit.
