Hi All,

I just wanted to say hello and make a shout out for my channel where I review old cameras! I'm a lover of large format and making videos about analogue and photographic history.

Eventually here, I'd like to be able to make some episodes about the folks here that have some exceptional talent.

Me first! Me first! I'd like to be interviewed (this pays money, right?). I haven't been interviewed since that little problem w/ the authorities back in 1969. Oh wait, that wasn't an interview, per se. I don't think it was, anyway. Is interrogated the same as interviewed? I'll be out in a few more years, so as long as you're not in a hurry.....

Well, they both involve someone asking you questions and being interested in your answers, so yes, they're the same!

Welcome to APUG, Danny. I just watched your recent video on the two Canon units. I learned something new today, although admittedly it's over 30 years since I touched any type of 35mm camera. And, those were all Nikon units back in those days.

Maybe making contacts, notifying the subscriber base of a resource they may enjoy...etc.

Thanks for reminding me my subscription has lapsed, I had not realized it. And it was fairly recently.

Being here since 2003 however, and a subscriber for vast majority of those years, plus other things I've done for this site and in promoting it, has more than made up for it.

The guy up above who came and promoted his site and used APUG to drive business has not been here since last August. Imagine that.
Guess I don't like when people use the site to drive business yet cannot toss a few shekels into the pot.

We've just witnessed the problem that is inherent in a 2 tier membership: subscribers calling out non-subscribers. Folks should become subscribers because they want to join a warm and welcoming community, not because they are shamed into it.

They have none Frank If after several thousand posts they had any shame they would put their hands in their pockets and make a financial contribution to the forums running costs.
