I had purchase some Collodion POP and did a few prints with the paper. Like the tone & its self-masking ability. However, when attempting to spot the prints, retouching seems ineffective - the spots remain despite several attempts. I've tried Spottone and Marshalls but to no effect.
Is the Collodion impervious to normal spotting techniques? Any help greatly appreciated.

Doug,

I have never used Collodion POP, but there's a chance that experience I had with a particularly dye-phobic paper a number of years ago might help. I diluted Marshalls liquid Retouch Colors with a combination of Vodka and PhotoFlo, more or less equal amounts of each, and slowly worked up the density with a fairly thin dye mix. Good luck.

Besides Denise' suggestion, have also received a couple of PMs from members. One mentioned that Collodion is basically waterproof ( a wound dressing), so normal touch-up dyes won't adhere. Another mentioned Mark Osterman as a source for info.
