So I just got a Leica M2 in the mail, turns out the rewind button was missing, I'm awaiting a response from the seller, and I expect everything should be handled, however, should the need arise for me to take care of this myself, does anyone have a resource for this specific part, and is it simple enough to install? It looks like it's just a threaded mount, I'm assuming one can just screw in a replacement?

I wound up sending the camera to Youxin who has the parts and is going to also be doing a full CLA for me, so once I get it back I'll have a fully-functioning M2

Well I have to say, I am supremely impressed with Youxin's level of service. I received the camera originally last Saturday, discovered the issue, talked with the seller and arranged for the repair of the missing parts and requested to send it to Youxin, all on Monday. They agreed, so I mailed the camera to Youxin Monday, he received it Wednesday, fixed the parts and determined it also needed a CLA (which I agreed to pay for separately), did that service and finished it Wednesday, then mailed it back to me Today (Thursday). I'll have the camera back in my hands by Saturday.

That has to be the quickest turn-around on any camera repair I've ever done.

So I got my camera back from Youxin today, everything seems nice and clean (to my knowledge) but I have a question regarding the button rewind itself. The collar surrounding the button is quite loose, if the camera is leaned forward it will actually slide away from the body about 1-2mm. I presume Leica wouldn't have allowed so much slack in a machined part, but I wonder if there is a way to tighten it so there is no play?
