I switched from Harman AI Glossy to Ilford Silk a couple of years ago. The color gamut was a hair better but the real reason for the switch was the OBA free and the paper handled better - that is it was a lot less likely to kink and better scratch resistant. Unfortunately the only way to see the kinking is on pretty large prints after a bit of experience. Any alternatives that people have tried?

I like Canson Baryta Photographique. No optical brighteners, nice surface, and a nice slightly warm tone. It handles fine in 17x22 sheets. I had some issues with flatness with the 17" roll I was cutting.
