Does anyone know of someone who could make a nice replacement lensboard for an old 10x12 camera? I had an original board for a camera which got damaged in a house move, and I'd like a replacement made if possible. The original was a thing of beauty - made out of three sheets of wood (mahogany?) held together with fine tongue and groove joints along the edges. It was just under 6.5"x6.5" square and about 9mm thick.

Ideally whoever makes a new lens board should have something to match so that you get a board that is as close as possible a match in terms of wood grain and colour, also finish. If your 10x12 camera is British that would mean it's French polished.

It's sounds like your lens board is relatively simply many British & Continental lens boards aren't.
