You mean you found the Rolleicord V at Hugo's site? Or on Ebay (which is Hugo studio, Austin, TX?)?

His position of the 'V' opening on the front plate is off. I've told him and offered to give him measurements on how to move it but he didn't respond. So many of his patterns are very close but missing some little nudges.

Thanks everybody for the useful links - don't need them now but I'm saving them for the future.

Are the folks at cameraleather really still in business? Their website is dated 2014 and it's a cemetery of dead links... :getlost:

I bought a kit for my Rolleiflex Automat from cameraleather a few months ago, came fairly quickly. I was also concerned about the date and dead links, but email communication was excellent.

Morgan has never put much time or effort into that site; it hasn't changed in years. But he does put a great deal of effort into his product. I have dealt with him a number of times and never had an issue with either the product quality or service. I'll take that over a slick website any day.

I think that cameraleather had a major site crash or hack a while back. And they may have discivered that it made little difference to their overall business so they never cleaned up all the broken links, etc.? It’s not a big operation at all, so they probably don’t have a lot of spare time and resources.

Send them an email with specific questions.

After running a roll of Delta 400 through the V I applied the new leather from Hugo Studios to the sides and front. It was a good fit following the directions supplied with the kit. All cutout holes aligned correctly.
I will dye the top and back pieces that are currently on the camera as they are in good condition. I'll include the remainder of the kit with the camera as it is now available for purchase.

Is cameraleather.com sell the only entity that sells actual LEATHER recovery kits? After doing some research, it appears that almost all sell "PU Leather" - the "PU" meaning polyurethane. Buyer beware, as they say.
