Replacement for Forte Polywarmtone FB semi matt

So many of my favorites have disappeared....
I used to use Forte PWT FB semi matt paper for almost all my prints. I developed in LPD or HQ warmtone for a somewhat warmer look. Just a gorgeous paper. The surface was lovely all by itself, but also took nicely to handcoloring. Can anyone recommend a suitable replacement?

Have a look at www.fotoimpex.de . I believe they market a warmtone paper under the Adox name. It has had some favourable comments from APGU users. You could also try Fomatone MG. This is a quality heavy weight paper with a cream base. It is very slow but devotees don't seem to consider this a problem. I have used it quite a bit (in glossy) and exposures in the region of 2 minutes are not uncommon for me. One advantage of such long exposures is that you have plenty of time for dodging and burning in.

Forte Polywarmtone is very slow too (about 3 stops slower than Ilford Multigrade IV) so that particular issue shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, I do remember that the Forte was slow, but I don't remember it being a major issue given the end result. However, isn't Fomatone MG an RC paper? Do they have a fiber paper that gives good results? Also, what does cream base mean? I have seen some papers [Kentmere fineprint FG warmtone for one] with what they call an Ivory base and I definitely do not like that.

Fomatone MG is available on RC and baryta bases, the baryta version being available in white and chamois (ivory/cream).
