Hi Guys,

The little latch on the back door of my OM-2N snapped off so now it won't close.
I know it's a simple enough fix to replace the door myself, but does anyone know if a regular OM-2 door will
fit on a OM-2N body? Or even an OM-1 door?

I'm trying to find a cheap camera on ebay to cannibalise for the replacement and there are cheaper OM-2s that i'm hoping I could use?

Thanks in advance!

I just tested: at least the OM-1, OM-1N, OM-2 and OM-2N have interchangeable back doors. Probably the newer ones, too.

Be aware that early OM-1 had different pressure plates and will not fit to newer bodies.
If you want the film reminder, only the -2 series had them. OM-1 never had them from factory. You can use the door from OM-2 in a later OM-1.
I've bought OM-1 with door replaced from OM-2 and vice-versa.
EDIT: On Ebay UK frequently there are OM doors for sale. You can just buy the door.
