Greetings all,

I've decided to get my feet wet with large format, and just purchased a used 4x5 Wista DX. Unfortunately, the condition of the camera is not as it was described to me, and it needs some minor repairs. All of my previous experience is with medium format systems. Is there a repair shop or person that you all could recommend for this kind of work?

Many thanks for any advice you can supply.

Mike

Richard T. Ritter repairs wooden cameras.

You might also check with Bob Salomon at HP Marketing, the U.S. distributor for Wista, to see if they have a specific recommendation.

I second Richard Ritter. http://www.lg4mat.net/

I've had Richard do work for me and have also had occasion to visit his shop in Vermont. He does exceptional work at a fair price.

Thank you David and John,

I will contact Richard, and see what he has to offer.

Very much appreciated!

Mike
