Thank you for that, quite informative.

I have the 28mm and 35mm Nikon Series E lenses, all of my other Nikon lenses are Nikkors. Including my much loved Nikkor 105 f/2.5 that I have had for about 30 years.

the 35/2.5E isn't so bad, in fact I think that it's pretty good and is the best amongst the E primes
 
I have your site bookmarked, I used it a lot when I started repairing my own Nikkors a couple of months ago. I cleaned this lens a few weeks ago but without your guidance! Luckily it was very similar to the 50mm E series which I had already repaired. Thank you for your extremely helpful site!

Glad that it's of help to you! been getting requests to do this for years just cannot justify the cost but I had to have one for the Nikon 100th Anniversary photo exhibit that we have here at our bar so
