Repair for a Horizont in the UK?

As I posted in my other thread, my Horizont shreds film so needs some service or adjustment. I've seen instructions online but once it gets into adjusting the spring for the shutter release - which seems to be related to jams etc so will quite likely be necessary - I think that's a job for someone other than me, I have enough to do.

Does anyone have any recommendations in the UK? I assume it's worth repairing as it seems a nice, simple, robust camera otherwise and I'd rather enjoyed using it.

Newton and Ellis in Liverpool might be prepared to have a look If its more difficult to repair than simple adjustment then it might not be cheap

I'd contact a few of the camera shops in Yorkshire that can be found on Google and inquire of them If they don't do repairs themselves they probably know who will do the work Surely camera shop selling collectible/classic cameras must have a need for a CLA (clean lubricate and adjustment ) on cameras bought in for resale

Skears Photographic in Northampton does repairs and was pretty good with my Pentax CLA but it may be further than you want to drive so sending it is the only option whereas you might be happy to drive to somewhere in Yorkshire and collect once repaired

Ah well, I tried three repair places, one recommended by a local classic camera dealer. They had no spares, so no go. Newton Ellis don't repair this camera. The third I found on the internet, exchanged emails and sent it in; they quoted three times what I paid for the camera, but they got it back to me within a few weeks. I've put a film through it - no tearing, the exposures seem ok... but the light seals leak, big marks on the negatives, so it will have to go back.

Doesn't fill you with confidence with that firm if they've sent it back leaking light and damaging the negatives .
Who were they ?

Here's how my negatives looked before sending it back to the repairer. I don't understand where the gridlines have come from, they were on my rough Epson scan but also on this which is from using a Sony A7RII on a lightpad, so I guess they are courtesy of the Horizont.

Possibly caused by the lens unit not rotating freely ?
Effectively overexposing where each stripe of image is overlapping .
If moving freely , the exposure would be even across the whole frame .

I noticed nothing unusual when takes shots, but obviously I wasn't watching the barrel rototate; there were no strange or clearly uneven noises. The sun was very strong that day, so the bright vertical bands could be down to light leaks. But the fine gridwork of vertical and horizontal dark lines all over the photos is beyond me.
