I read that renaissance painters , Da Vinci and Vermeer was using underpainting technique to create more depth at the surface painting. Their underpainting color was frequently dark umber - burned orange - and grey.
Can we print orange colored traces first and than normal color to the top of it. My understanding is there might be 2 color layers , not single one but may be do these two different printing merging works well ?
Other idea is preparing two slides and register one on other and print together.
Any idea ?
I have no chemical, film, working camera but 10 dollars for 6 months spending at APUG and rest is brain exercising
