Removing silver stains?

I have what I believe is a silver stain in the sink (kitchen) I use for washing prints. It's a faux-granite plastic sink.

What can I do to deplete the silver and remove the stains?

Dish cleaner, a bit of Potassium Permanganate & salt, wipe with strong fixer. Or Ferricyanide & Bromide, then strong fix. Bleach = Sofium Hypo Chlorite

Should clean easily, even a kitchen cleaner mild abrasive.

Test if first. Permanganate can leave a brown stain behind all on its own. It could be impossible to get that stain out of the sink.

Another route would be to use plain blix for color paper. It is rather harmless to most everything and any stain it leaves behind can be removed by either EDTA or Dequest.

I had/have a similar situation. used PP and fix. It appeared to have gone away but has returned a year later. HAve tried Farmers reducer and I'll let you know in another year if it is still gone.

The blix itself is a mixture of Ferric Ammonium EDTA + Ammonium Hypo. To remove stains from the blix itself, wash the area with some EDTA Disodium Salt.
