It is very simple to remove the front lens from a TOKINA SZ-X210 Zoom SD 70mm - 210 mm f/4-5.6 in order to remove mold from its rear side:

Definitely fungus.

It looks to me like some of it is still there -- or is that simply reflections?

Also what did you use to remove it?

There is nothing moldy left, you see only reflections.
First with normal glass cleaner, then with 99,9% isopropanol.
