Thanks for posting the link.

I've completed the survey with, unsurprisingly, a strongly pro-film bias...

Well, if Kodak are monitoring this forum they'll delete my entry as well.
My best reason for using film: digital prints look like digital prints.

To me kodak is a dead horse. Their existance will just make trouble to ilford, Foma,... No place on the market of photography for a new film&paper maker. I think we do not need kodak any more. Your vision might differ, up to you. PhotoEnginner is far more usefull to the world of phoptography than whole kodak.

I filled out the survey. While I use other brands of film, most notably Ilford, for color work I really like Kodak Portra 160NC. I use it for most all my color work.

Done. Much as I like Fuji film, I hope to have two choices for colour neg film in the future. I am an Ilford user in B&W but for the sake of those who are Kodak users I'll lend a hand to persuade Kodak to continue.

Hopefully the world can sustain 3 B&W film manufacturers. Time and our usage will tell.

Be that as it may, I am a confirmed Ilford user, started with Ilford film and probably will end with Ilford film. But to have some competition keeps people on their toes; and it's always nice to have a fall-back.

That said I do have a liking for Tri-X (320) and it is the only B&W film available in 220. Also TMX-100 in Readyloads for backpacking; and will do what it takes to keep them alive.

Just my 2 cents

If Kodak really is recording the survey responses from folks using the link in the OP then they are learning how unreliable voluntary web polls really are!

Talk about stuffing the ballot box! :surprised:

I still use film at work. And I've used Digital cameras at work since 1992. So I could give a number of long-term "film still has advantages" answers without a bias.

I use Film at home, of course.

Please direct me to vendors where I can purchase Color Transparency film made by Foma or Ilford or Efke? I use about 100 4x5 sheets in an average month for my livelyhood. If Kodak stops making color film products I will be in sad shape. Fuji is the only other source for color transparency film, and I have used Kodak for 30 years.
