I just bought a vintage Yankee round safelight, and a Kodak '2-way" (triangular-shape) one, locally.

The Yankee's old amber lens is easily to replicate with Rubylith or such,as another forumite as shown, here.

I am not sure about going the same with the Kodak 3 1.4 by 4 3/4 amber one though, as existing cannot be trusted.
Suggestions?

BTW, both unit have 15W frosted incandescent bulbs. Throw in a red LED?

This is for future B&W darkroom only - when I will have all the bits in place!

After reading this tip from others on the forum I have added Rosco filters to resurrect two old safelights. They work well. In addition, while this probably isn't what you are thinking, my safelights have led bulbs in them. Finally, I do have a small safelight made with red leds that works without issue when loading and developing ortho film but it should be noted that it is kept far away and all the safelights mentioned are quite dim.
