Regular or slim-mount 46mm filter for Zeiss 21mm ƒ/4.5 ZM Biogon lens?

Hi Everyone,

Ken Rockwell writes that the 21mm ZM Biogon can use regular 46mm filters. The Zeiss brochure does not specify. Do any of you have personal experience with this ƒ/4.5 or the ƒ/2.8 ZM lens? Do I need slim filters or will regular ones work?

I'd say 21mm lens is wide enough that you should run slim filters

I've had the 21mm 2.8 ZM for many years now and always used regular filters. Can't say I've seen problems.
