The Jobo and Photothem are poor choices for the various reasons mentioned. The Filmomat is too expense and suffers poor design by reason of its 3 bath limit. That may not be a limit if you plan to only use the 2 or 3 bath DIY kits for at-home use, but their quality (or lack) doesn't really justify a need for this sort of automatic equipment. I assume you have already figured out that given the costs involve and your volume of use, you are going to be expiring out about half of your chemicals and wasting that cost, and it will take you a decade to amortize these expenses compared to using a top quality lab. All that said, go to YouTube and a few back videos of Nico's Photo News, looking for updates on a new machine being developed by a guy in New Zealand. Physically its a dead ringer for a SideKick, but uses modern technology, will service a fully 6 bath E-6 process, fully user programable if necessary, and projects at around $2,500. Initial products should be out the door in 60-90 days. One nice thing about it is that seems to be built from parts which should be available for a long time, should there be any problems later.
