I am excited to announce that the project I have been spending most of the last year on is now on exhibit at First Unitarian Church in Denver. It is a collection of portraits of families. Most of these families are a gay or lesbian couple or have gay or lesbian parents. The exhibit is in support of a project that the church is sponsoring in support of equal marriage rights for same sex couples.
The portraits are all in black and white film, printed by myself on fiber paper. The exhibit will also be available for display at other churches or interested locations, so please feel free to contact me if that is of interest to you. You can see a few of the portraits on my web site at http://paulsorensenphoto.com.
Of course I understand that not everyone agrees with me on this issue, and I am not posting this as a way to start a discussion on this topic. I just want to let folks know that I have these photos on display and that I am very excited to finally have this project mostly completed.
