Reflector, what brand/size

OK I'm looking for a reflector, or maybe a set, with a stand.

I have no idea how to go about doing so.

My plan is to use a reflector with my Rollei for available light portraits. Mostly 1/2 and full body portraits with black and white film indoors and outdoors but I do not anticipate difficult weather conditions.

Any guidence into understanding my options and which reflectors/brands I should look into? I'm not looking for a one-size-fits-all type of thing, so I understand that there may be some pros/cons in terms of durability, portability, ease-of-use, etc. Price is secondary as long as it is "worth" the premium amount (I see that some equipment can get more pricey).

Right now I'm focusing on available light equipment then later I'm going to start building a monolight set.

I have made good experiences with sunbounce reflectors. They are not cheap but definitely worth it. The size "Mini" is fully sufficient for half body shots. For full length portraits I would recommend the "Pro". I´ve used the zebra/white. It generates a pleasant warmtone without being as exaggerated as a golden reflector.

Even with a modest breze, a reflector for a full body shot really needs an assistant holding it. They need seriously sand baged stands to stay still in all but indoors in my experience. I have a no name chinese one that pops out to about 3x5' that is good for full body shots.

It has a white diffuser core, with silver, gold, zebra and white available as a slip over reversible cover. It is not as fast to use with the cover, but a good deal more flexible.

Reflectors sometimes need to be just out of the frame to be effective. This is where an assisitant holding the reflector is most useful.

For monochrome shooting I prefer a silver one because it's a better reflector, also one with a black surface on the back is very useful to do the opposite to a reflector to kill light and produce shadows (called a gobo)
, there are some reflectors on the market that have several interchangeable covers, white, silver, gold black, and diffuser, which I find very useful for outdoor portraiture .
