No, it is type of G.A.S. among film hipsta. Not so long ago digital hipsta circulated one west coast photo achievement with digital retro (symple) cameras.

Most of the articles are inane, and this one was the last straw. I have deleted it from my RSS feed to eliminate a source of petty annoyances in my life.

I put half a roll through an Olympus Shoot and Go at lunchtime, which is basically a disposable camera with an opening back. I agree Petapixel makes in flight magazines look like investigative journalism.

I spent last year reloading one time use cameras and having fun. I even bought cheap cell phone fisheye lenses and glued them on top of the lens. It sorta worked.
