In general I shoot 6x7 color transparencies then scan them to a very high resolution. The question I have is this: Does anyone have any experience using actions for Adobe Photoshop? I use Elements so I can't create actions but I can import and use them. So, I'm interested buying or using free/professional action libraries, does anyone have a recommendation for a particular action library?

I'm not sure what you're looking to get from actions overall. However, I use actions that Tony Kuyper has been providing on line for years now. He developed them over time during the years we've been at the NPN site. Here is a link to Tony's site and just click on the Tutorial button. He can also be found on YouTube along with other folks from NPN using the actions. The actions he provides are Luminosity Masks for the most part. I also shoot a lot of 6x7 transparencies as well as 4x5 too and use the actions on every landscape image I post process. Sometimes only one action out of the group, but many times others depending upon the needs.
