Recommend a portrait lens for Canon on Portra film (and digital)

I use the Canon FD 85 mm f 1.2 L that I've used for more than thirty years although I have several zoom lenses 75 - 150, 70 - 210 etc.
I much prefer the 85 mm lens, it's easier to handle and I seem to shoot better pictures with it.
