Recharable batteries

Does anyone have any opinion on what is the best AA rechargeable battery? I am tired of stuffing the land fill with used batteries and our recycle group won't take them.

I am unfamiliar with the term "recycling group." I am assuming it is a private recycling center, as opposed to a government-sponsored hazardous waste disposal facility. If so, doesn't your local government have a hazardous waste disposal program? Most here do.

I didn't know Eneloops were well regarded. I gave a bunch away to my boss a few years ago because I rarely used them. (I don't often use speedlights, but she does.) Darn!

Save them up and drop them off at the closest Best Buy big box store, Kanata isn't that far from you.
