Dear All,

Coming out of lurker mode for a minute. I was lucky enough to get a good deal on a near mint Schneider Super Anglon 72mm lens. I am going to use it on my Cambo Monorail and Toyo Field camera by way lindof adapter board.

I was playing with it last night, and because of the use of the Cambo to Linhof and Toyo to Lindof Adapter boards, I have only minimal movements I I would really not like to change lens boards, so I have been looking for a recessed Linhof style lensboard. So far, most of the ones I have found are only about 10mm deep or so.

I was wondering, if there is anything deeper closer to 20mm or 25mm in a linhof style board. It appears that it would allow me to get the movements out of the lens that I was hoping for. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx!

Although Toyo recommends the 12mm recessed board for lenses from 58-75mm, you can get a 1" recessed board from Midwest Photo Exchange (www.mpex.com). You'll probably need an angle extension for the shutter release, and the lens controls (aperture and shutter speed) are more difficult to operate.
