I am interested in knowing the following
1. A company that exists only as a marketer, that licenses or owns a brand name. i.e re-branding existing emulsions.
and
2. A company that has a unique proprietary technology (thinking here of a company like Impossible) that has the product Toll coated.
Toll manufacturing is very common in chemical industry, especially in pre-full scale, limited production phase.
Adox seems to be developing technology and trying to develop a sustainable factory for coating and finishing. Kodak has finally realized that film can still be a cash machine even at 1% of the former volume. I don't wan't to pay for a "meatball" i.e. logo or brand name. I'm a pretty ordinary guy, Kodak and Ilford are what I go to 90% of the time. So I guess I'm not a typical customer for most of this. I would like to see more good news on film and paper.
I'm more worried about paper than film.
